Alan Paul strikes again with another great Allman Brothers Band interview feature. Appropriately titled "All in the Family," the five page spread in Guitar World Acoustic No. 60 features great color and black & white shots of the guys playing acoustic, and an interview with Gregg, Warren, and Derek.

Subtitled "Guitarists Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks step up big time on Hittin' The Note, the Allman Brothers Band's first studio album in almost a decade," the article touches on the ABB's increasing popularity, the new album, and of course the ABB's inclusion of acoustic material in their repertoire. Gregg offers some insights on Duane's dobro playing, Derek discusses his love of Indian classical music and why he plays in open E tuning, and Warren talks about some surprising musical influences including James Taylor and Jackson Browne!

Alan Paul has consistently delivered great articles about the ABB extended musical family over the years -- his familiarity with and love of the band and their music allows him to bypass the routine questions we have heard so many times, and get straight to fresh material and insights. I loved the article and suspect you will too -- check it out!
