We reallly enjoyed last night's show. Due to a sheltered existence this was my first time seeing Jimmy Herring...WOW! Very impressed, and I'm glad he sat in on Dreams and OWO.

So, can someone clarify.
Both Jimmy Herring, and Derek took solo's on Dreams?

Here is my personal review. Honestly, once Widespread Panic got done, my mind was completely blown, and I thought the Allman Brothers had absolutely no way of topping them. If anyone has the chance to see WP and can, def take it.

Anyway,

Statesboro Blues: nice way to start off a show, got the crowd pumped.
Les Brers: Yes, yes, yes and a million more! One of the best songs of the night and surely one of the most surprising.
Come and Go Blues: no much to say here, good song though.
Sky is Crying: Wow, Warren's vocals on this were amazing and the whole song was pretty much just down and gritty blues.
Don't Keep Me Wonderin': Another nice surprise.
Walk on Gilded Splinters: Another great one, with John Bell from WP on guest vocals, def looking forward to here this one again.
Trouble No More: not one of my favorites to be honest.
Good Morning Little Schoolgirl: I think that WP's keyboardist sat in on this one, good jam.
Revival: from what I can remember, this song was extremely sloppy and the solos produced nothing special (sadly).
The Weight: Energetic version with Warren on vocals.
Dreams: Great, with John Herring from WP taking a guitar solo...then Derek took a long one, and then...wait what...how are ya not gonna give Warren one too...oh well, still great.
One Way Out: it's typical energetic self.

Whippin' Post: Best solos of the night, big crowd pleaser.

Overall a very good show, but to be honest, WP played close to if not better then the ABB. I was happily surprised.

Another stellar performance from the Brothers last night. They never dissapoint. The Whipping Post made you wanting more. Great extended version of Revival. The Weight with Warren signing was a highlight too and I finally got my Les Brers. Panic was good. Not really a fan of Bell's voice but he did sing good on Walk on Guilded Splinters with the Brothers. Herring and Schools were both great. I was locked into both of them. I was in the 2nd row. After the Allman show did anyone notice that Butch fell to the ground and had to be helped up. Wondering if everything is ok.

Yes... first Jimmy, then Derek, no Warren solo.

Les Brer was a first for me and was my personal fav. - just awesome. I like Guilded Splinters and it was a good version - just seen it at too many shows lately (and I might put The Weight and Schoolgirl in that category too.). Revival was energetic but I think it lost a lot of the people during the jam in the middle. No matter how often I see Dreams and Whipping Post, they just never disappoint. Overall a high energy, great show and crowd. A lot of people standing and dancing where I was so I was pleased. Anyone know if rained much during the Brothers' set? Was hoping to hang in the parking lot but then the rains came bigtime - bet the cops were glad to have an easy night clearing the lots. I hope this wasn't the last time I get to see this lineup of the band!?

I was in the front row near Oteil and after the show my friend saw Butch down on a knee and was helped down the steps. Not sure if it was down jokingly after playing a blistering Whipping Post and was tired. Hopefully someone can let us know.
