Sorry if this may have already been posted, but is there an update as to the release date of the latest archive release? I haven't heard or seen anything since August. Thanks.

Dave

I'm waitin' for an update as well, I check in every day to see if something has been posted.

The last I heard, it was gonna be a Duane-era release.

Still think they release at Beacon for 40th only makes sense. They won't be ready for another release by March 2009 (IMO)

If I'm not mistaken, Rob Johnson posted elsewhere that the production was complete and it's just waiting for the band's review and approval.

If its band approval we're waiting on, it might be a while. There was an interview with Gregg posted here - an interview from August 2008 - where they asked him about the archive releases and he said "I think we have enough of those for now."

It's out there in black and white.

was that for archive releases or for compilations?
I seem to remember the interview and thought it was in regards to
all the compilations they have. Why release yet another one for their
40th?

I'd have to see the black and white again to be sure

I would hope the band would allow it to happen.
Sure would love anything with Duane and the 73-73 years are
really good....some very intense music was being made. Some of the best the
Bros ever played...

Now this would make a killer archive release, 2 cd set along with a dvd of the performance, wow! I have the audio as most of us do, but to get it remastered along with a dvd of the show, that would be awesome.
