the first one is available in stores, will the others eventually be made available to retail outlets or will it remain an internet only thing?

I've only seen the one as well. My guess is, it didn't sell well so the next ones didn't get marketed that way.

I believe the first archival was released to retail outlets as Santuary Records was the ABB record company and was distributing their CDs at the time. Now since, Santuary Records has stopped U.S. operations, the ABB IS no longer on that or any other record label, it woulc be very doubtful that any other ABB Santuary releases would be in retails stores than whatever is current out there. Cosequently, all archival releases are ONLY AVAILIABLE through HTN website.

oh ok. no offense to the allmans but i hate ordering from a bands website directly. normally shipping takes a month or so and i am impatient lol. they should do like a lot of bands and set up distribution through cdnow.com. cdnow.com sells tons of independent releases. cdnow.com would just order a bunch from HTN website and then sell them

i can't believe after i mentioned cdnow.com no one mentioned that YES HTN has an amazon storefront and the archival releases are available there.

now the question is which one to get first out of 2-5?

also are the 2 disc sets digipaks or standard har dewel cases?

Matt,

I didn't know about that Amazon storefront......
I prefer to buy to directly from HTN....
it is very safe.........
anyway, general consensus....
if you're buying just one to start with -
start with the 2nd Archive release - 9/19/71 Stonybrook....

We generally ship items within a few days - except for exceptionally busy times like right before Christmas or after a long festival.

The best prices are on HTN but we also offer some of our products on Amazon or E-bay - but with a mark-up because they take a chunk out of the purchase.

The Allman Brothers Band is one of the few bands left that help support their very own fan base by having a small business like ours handle the merch. You can actually have someone answer the phone and talk with you about all things Allman! Can't do that at Amazon, CDBaby, CDnow, E-bay or Music Today. Give us a try!

i think i'll order from HTN. the prices look better. calling in an order is a good idea because then credit card info isn't transmitted over the internet.

where can i find a list of how much the shipping rates are for the HTN items?
