Any dates for them are a 50/50% I wouldn't read too much into that just yet. Everything Gregg Allman related is on a day to day basis for now...

The main thing is for Gregg to get healthy. I'm good with him taking a full year off and coming back strong in 2013.

Doesn't appear to be any dates for Gregg on his site till New Years' Eve. And as others have already said, Gregg's health should be his main priority before touring again.

You are welcome guys. Now that a POG has been sent, I have deleted my post w/ the presale info. To find the POG info, click Newsletters, then view past newsletters. You may not get an email, so this is the easiest way to find the info.

Ah, this is what I've been waiting for! Got 2 JJ for Saturday and 2 BB for Sunday. Was kinda strange, after I bought Saturday, went back to get Sunday, and it said I had purchased my allotment of tickets, and kept taking the tickets out of my cart. Had to go through and create an account for my wife and bought the tickets that way, and they went through. Just glad to get them!

My buddy I'm driving in with from Cincy came over for the football game last night and was a big doubting thomas, saying I don't think they are going to do any more shows this year. To which I repliied, that they still have 2-3 weeks to announce shows in December. Bam, we get this today. I just knew, especially after how they played at the Hep C benefit, that they were going to add some more dates. Plus, this obviously means Gregg is doing better. Can't wait for the 26th and 27th

What have they got against the south? Geez, charlotte, atlanta, birmingham, raleigh....all have venues and surely more than just me for a fan. Philly and Boston congrats. The south has lost yet again.

Don't worry. The band will rehearse here for a few days before heading up to the Northeast.

Damn yankee!

I wonder when we will hear about xmas jam in Asheville. Perhaps the ABB might grace that w/ their presence? Thinking it ought to be around Dec 10. I'm probably going to do it, ABB or not.

The longer the ABB go without playing the South, the more it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's easy to say your "strongest markets" are in the Northeast when you let you fanbase in the rest of the country wither away due to neglect.

I really enjoyed the Charlotte-Maryland-Virginia-Birmingham run in 2009 with Panic. So glad I diid those six nights! At the time I had no idea it might be the last proper "Southern tour" the Allman Brothers Band would ever do, but it's starting to look that way.

Now that my bitter rant is out of the way, congrats to those who scored tickets and I hope everybody enjoys these upcoming shows.

NO idea what the deal is w/ the ABB -- but individual members (WHB, TTB) still tour in the South.

After the first of the year, Gregg is playing several dates in the South: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and quite a few in Florida.
