bluedadDoes anyone know why there are three drum sets on stage?
pcwIn July or Aug of '72, the ABB did a tour with Dr. John who used 3 drummers. I attended the show in Nashville which was outside at the Nashville Speedway. While this pic may not be from that concert, I think it is from that tour.
playallniteI only see 2 drumsets, one extreme left and centerw/ Butch at the helm. At the right are congas and timbales mannned by Jaimoe, it's doubtful but maybe they are playing DKMW.
StephenI don't believe that's Jaimoe on the right, you can see his drums at his usual place at the extreme left of the picture. Howard Duane Allman -- that's what I think of when seeing pictures of the 1972 band. Good Lord was he missed.
