Hey guys, this is my first post. My friends and I are planning a roadtrip up to Bushkill Falls this weekend to see the band playing with Bob Weir. I was wondering if anyone who lives around there could recommend any good places to camp out while we are up there. Thanks for any help you can give me.

There may be camping because the falls is a park/recreation area of some sort. Just a word though, to get there the one road that goes there is a Mountain road, as in 2,000 feet up with that tiny little guardrail and no you cannot turn around once you get on that road. There ain't no place to turn around, so if those 2,000 foot vistas start to get to you, you gotta keep going. For those afraid of heights, make sure somebody else is driving or take a Xanax somewhere in Jersey.

I believe the 2000 ft. views are on the roads to the falls area - not the venue. So if you are just going to the show - no worries. As far as the venue - I think this is only its second year - I was there a few months ago for Steve Miller. Impressions- seats under roof were great - nice sound and good views. The lawn has good sound too but there were no video screens so consider binoculars. Only saw 2 beer lines inside - both with 20-25 minute waits. However, the bathrooms were empty - probably cause no one wanted to wait that long for a beer. Also didn't see any port-a-potties out in the lot. You may also want to be extra discreet with partying in the lot cause it is a newer venue in a small town area and the law may feel they have something to prove with a Grateful Dead act coming to their town.
