great show... the cast worked well together. I never thought Loni Anderson was much to look at...huge breasts are not all that. I dig the plain jane...girl next door look and Bailey covered that quite well.

WKRP certainly provided a great deal of humour. One of the times coffee came out my nose was the day my old boss asked a salesaman we working a biz show with if Herb Tarlek knew he'd stolen his best suit to wear that day. Volkswagon seat covers...

And definitely Bailey.Jan Smithers as was way sexier than the blonde.

Fav episodes:

- dropping turkeys from a helicopter
- writing a jingle for a funeral home ad
- the radio contest (listener had to identify 5 songs by hearing a nanosecond of each)
- Les Nessman: "black like me"
- the one where they were in the 3-D porn movie theater

One of the greatest television shows ... about radio - of all time!

Still love the theme from that show

Those are great. Another episode when Johnny & Venus Fly Trap were testing the affects of alcohol with the State Trooper. Johnny's reaction times became faster as he had more alcohol

Speaking of the tune "Dogs," has anyone heard Les Claypool's take on that tune? Very cool. I've heard it on Sirius 17 a few times. Yes, Smatter, one of the greatest shows in television history. Makes me long for the days when there actually was original, well written and acted television to actually enjoy. Now it's reality drivel everywhere on the dial.

"Oh the humanity!

I believe the cowboy was Travis?

Great show, great writers. Characters were real. Knew 'em, or at least an aspect of them. Maybe some of me in some of them.

Bailey was as real as it gets. Perfection. Led with her intelligence, understated beauty.

Even as a youngster I had the sneaking suspicion that Bailey was probably an absolute wild cat between the sheets. You know, all that pent up stiffness and formality let loose.....Hang on, baby!!

The best quotes...

(From the funeral home jingle episode)..."Who-ra, Who-ra, Who-ra, Who-ra"
(From the drunk driving episode)..."The cop's got a hat, I want a hat"
(When Dr. Johnny Fever first get's on the air)... "Boooooogerrrrrr!!!!"

Another great episode is when Herb gets into a fight with the WPIG pig and he gets stuck in that carp costume under the bathroom stall door.

Hilarious...that show should be on TV land a lot more.

Ahh... WKRP. About as good as sitcom's get. TV Land last aired it in 2003... really is about time to start showing it again.

As you can see from my sig, I'm a huge KRP fan. 1st season just came out on dvd and it's well worth picking up. They had to take some of the music out due to licenseing issues and replace it but it's still pretty classic.
