That sounds like a scam. How can they have tickets when the official sale hasn't even happened yet?

Same thing I was thinking Doug. I guess they get the tickets over the table now instead of under it.

Always look forward to seeing the Allmans at Jones Beach, was a fine show last summer with Derek opening. Really hope Ratdog won't be there this year -- that is one of the worst, ugliest names for a band I have ever heard. But what do you expect from Bob Weir? He can't even come up with a good name to hide his shallow talents.

I would rather it be Phil and Friends, but Ratdog is not terrible. As long as the Brothers play last and play a full set I will be happy. I have been to every Jones Beach show since 1992 and the last three years were really excellent shows. They always play a great show at the beach. I have all three on IL and am gonna listen to last years show today.

IMO this is harsh but to an extent I agree I cannot listen to bob weir, it is like finger nails on a chalkboard for me.

these folks could possible have a corporate box or more for all the shows. They do that at Jones Beach so they could be scalpers who have box tickets. Just a thought

Hope all you that don't care for Ratdog stay out in the parking lot until it gets dark while the rest of us enjoy the groove. Really though, I can't wait to see the ABB again after just one Beacon show. I hope diehards from both sides are respectful of all the music played that night.

The Brothers always have a jam band open for them. Last year it was Mule and the DTB. The year before Moe. This year it will be ratdog. The opening act will get a 90 minute set without encore. The ABB will play one full set (around two hours) plus encore.

I am from Wantagh and have not been to a show there since the Summer of 83. Looks like I need to get myself back up there some time soon. Tuesday is not exactly a cool day for show.
