Hey who's going to the Darien Lake, NY show on Tuesday? I'm thinking of going since I arrived at the Hartford show just as the ABB were ending. The box office wouldn't tell me when the ABB were coming on for "security reasons." What a bunch of crap! Then I wanted to go to the Saratoga Springs , NY show but it was sold out. Figured with gas at $3.00+ it wasn't worth trekking up there to try to get a ticket in the parking lot. The Darien Lake venue is ok, definetly not one of my favorites but I want to see the ABB. So post if your going.

Tim

My wife and I are going, we've got a room reserved for tonight at the Econo Lodge in Pembroke. We should be arriving there after 9pm, relaxing with a few beers by 10pm....Canadian beers, that is...I'll have a few extra, in case we meet some fellow fans who want to party.

We're riding the rides most of the day on Tuesday, then heading into the concert to hear Tom Petty (haven't seen him since '86 with Dylan and the Dead) and the real reason I'm travelling from Canada...the Allman Brothers.

Hope I meet a few people from here at the show...I answer to Musicalbeds or MB.

I am thinkin' 'bout goin' as well...but I def won't stay until the end...last year I went there for Petty/Crowes and the post-show traffic was a disaster...that fence between the pavilion and lawn really restricts people flow...

of course im going...im a a young guy, just 19,(concert highlights for me include Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, john fogerty, Chicago, James Taylor, Little Feat, Bob Dylan, The Dead and OF COURSE ABB, Gov't Mule & Warren Haynes solo) i saw ABB for the first time last year at Finger Lakes PAC and was absolutely floored. while i realize its not the same as when it was the originals, it was still awesome and i realize not only why this band has been going for 37 yrs, but why they mean so much to so many people. im taking my younger sister to this show, her first concert, i said a Petty/ABB show is perfect for an introduction to a pair of icons and two of the greatest American Bands of all time

I won't be hard to spot; I'll have my Toronto SARS stock T-shirt on; it's red with a Stones tongue logo on the front...only the tongue has the CDN flag, and the back of the shirt has the date and venue. My eye colour will probably match the shirt.

I've been growing my hair but it's not long enough yet to tie back, so I look like an outtake from "The 70's Show"... I'll be with my wife and she's real cute...

Oh, and I'll be wearing jeans.... unless it's hot, then maybe shorts.

See, easy enough, eh?
