not wanting to steal anyone's Thunder, I'll just pick a few:

LAFE
Get Yer Ya Ya's Out - Stones
Mad Dogs & Englishmen - Joe Cocker
Welcome To The Canteen - Traffic
The Concert - CCR

Welcome aboard, by the way.

"You know there's only one thing when your down in the dumps that can make you feel better!! COLD GIN!" Nothing like listening to Paul Stanley banter on Kiss Alive.

Actually Elvis Live at MSG is a great one, and let us not forget the ABB Fillmore East.

My two favorites.

Too many other good ones to mention after those.

I'll go with One From the Vault- Grateful Dead...it is just awesome:

08/13/75 (Wed) Great American Music Hall - San Francisco, CA

Set 1: Help On The Way* > Slipknot* > Franklin's Tower* > Music Never Stopped*, It Must Have Been The Roses*, Eyes Of The World* > Drums* > Stronger Than Dirt*

Set 2: Around and Around*, Sugaree*, Big River*, Crazy Fingers > Drums* > The Other One > Sage And Spirit > Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad, U.S. Blues, Blues For Allah

Anything that has live Miles Davis, especially with Coltrane, is a keeper too!!!!

MY PERSONAL TOP 10 LIVE ALBUMS:

1A. ABB LAFE
1B. Bob Dylan Bootleg Series, Vol. 4 "The Royal Albert Hall Concert"

These two kinda tower over all other commercially released live albums for me. LAFE is the greatest album of all time as far as I'm concerned. The Dylan performances both solo acoustic and with The Band are so dripping with poetry, charisma, danger, honesty, and pure cujones, it's scary.

Then there's these, pretty much in order of my faves:

3. Grateful Dead Europe '72 (esp. the last disc, that's such a great recording of Prelude and Morning Dew, it still brings chills!)

4. Lynyrd Skynyrd One From The Road (brings back memories of my first rock show, Skynyrd at the Beacon when I was 13! Smell the Acapulco Gold baby!!!)

5. Bob Marley & The Wailers Live! (The crowd is so into it and the recording just crackles with energy, it's great -- and that version of No Woman No Cry is so powerful it's ridiculous!)

6. Hendrix, Band of Gypsies (WHY did he have to die!?! He was really just gettin' started)

7. The Who Live at Leeds (Pete Townshend's finest hour as a guitar hero!)

8. Rory Gallagher, Irish Tour (Remastered) (I just discovered this recently. Holy sweat!)

9. Little Feat, Waiting for Columbus (Lowell, I miss you! Mercenary Territory and Spanish Moon on this album are so mind-blowing) (I edited out the Stones, let's face it, their live records all fall a little shy of the mark!)

10. ABB, One Way Out (Esp. the recordings of Rocking Horse and Desdemona, really impressive coming out party for the current lineup as a live act that needs to be on Mount Rushmore!)
