Loving the fact that the Buffalo Sabres have advanced in the NHL playoffs. Considering I live just outside of Ottawa, I am not a popular guy around here lately. But I have been a Sabre fan since they first got their team in Buffalo.

Looks like only Carolina is standing in the way of a return to the Finals. (Will be doing a great favor by eliminating the Devils) I know there are some big Devils fans around here but I am happy Buffalo will likely not meet up with Brodeur this year.

Yeah Edmonton is throwing their bodies around quite a bit. I wouldn't mind Buffalo meeting them in the finals.

All the comments on the post game show last night were about wanting Carolina next.

They want nothing to do with the Devils.

You can't trust those Devils. Always scary with him in nets. The closer he gets to the Cup the better he plays.

I'm hoping tonight is one game closer to that Cup.

Ducks are going to destroy Edmonton in the Western Conference finals. Ducks v. Buffalo all the way. What a series that would be

As a huge leafs fan, i do not like buffalo one but, but you've got no choice to support the team when they just knocked out the despised sens. Woo! Sens cement their reputation as true choke artists.

I currently have no favourite team in the playoffs, as I cannot bring myself to cheer for a team other than the hometown leafs.

Go Leafs Go!

Leaf fans have been jumping all over the Sabre bandwagon because of their Ottawa hatred. But the Leaf fans know that Buffalo has their number also. I make tons of cash off of my Leaf buddies. Toronto's record against Buffalo is dismal at best. Hard to believe that they will still bet against Buffalo. Between Ottawa and Toronto I make a tidy sum of cash. Not to knock your team while they are down but I find it funny that Toronto fans call the Sens choke artists. Exactly what has Toronto won? Been a long time since they made the finals. Remember Sundin and the boys were golfing while Ottawa was still playing hockey.

As a Flyers fan,I can't really say much, but your Sabres look really good.

Rooting for the Ducks now.I got them before the season in Vegas at 30-1.

Now you have gone and made me feel guilty in advance. Nice odds though.

I agree Go SABRES ! I remember watching the "French Connection" in the 70's and have always liked the Sabres . Buffalo has never won a major sports championship . This could be the year !

Another Flyers fan here. The Sabres are very hot right now - they made the Flyers look slooowwww. I'm pulling for them to win it all (better as a Flyers fan to know you lost to the eventual champion). Also, Buffalo suffered with all the Super Bowl losses (as an Eagles fan - I know this pain also) so that town is due a winner. I'm hoping things will be better next year for the Flyers (maybe 2 reconstructed ankles for Forsberg will help).

Hey, now! We are certainly enjoying our playoff run here in Raleigh. If it weren't for having a family of four and tons of concerts that I must see this year, I would be finding a way to go to some of these games. However, in my effort to support the Canes, I have come to realize how valuable it is to the team for me to sit in the same spot while watching the games at home!

I am truly concerned about the Sabres, though. They have a fun style of play to watch, and I have become a fan of JP Dumont. It is going to be one helluva matchup! Our goaltending is going to have to step up a notch or two against this club.

Here's to the Sabres fans making it down to the Old North State safely! We are looking forward to this weekend. And to any Whale fans, bring your Canes jersey to the game this time. I don't need that sorry luck rubbin' off on my team.

The Sabres sure know how to get my heart pounding! But they have given me some hope by taking the series back to Carolina. It's Miller time for sure!

Game 7 will definitely be another stressful night for me.

I skipped a Stanley Cup game to watch the season finale of LOST.

Do I get partial credit for watching the first period?

Enjoying this Stanley Cup run
I remember watching the Sabres play the Flyers as a kid in 75' for the right to put their names on Lord Stanley's cup.
I also remember how we got shafted on a lousy no-call of in the crease against Dallas.
I think this team is hungry enough to win it all
Go Sabres Go!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on forcing Game 7! I was disappointed for Cam Ward last night. After all of the saves he made last night, I thought the one he let by in OT to be a save he should have made. Sabres kicked our arse in the first period. We were lucky to get it to OT.

Here's to a well-played game for both sides tomorrow night. Hopefully, home ice will pull the Canes through. It should be a heck of a game!
