Did the Allman Bros ever play for any sponsors, organizations, charities? I'm just curios!

Does the Big House benefit from this year count? They also did at least one benefit for Dickey's Native American charity, and they did a Christmas concert for Gateway in 1994.

If I'm not mistakened...Miller Genuine Draft sponsered one of their tours in the early to mid-nineties. In fact, Allen Woody had a 12 string Chandler bass with the MGD logo painted on it that was used on that tour.

I can remember a cool "Head for the Mountains " song on the
radio for Busch beer, with the classic guitar climb - up with
Dickey and Warren . Also remember Miller beer and Camel
cigarettes as tour sponsers during the early 90's .

All of the members have sponsors for the equipement they use. The band is not corporate free nor should they be. Many of the concert halls or amp theaters they play are corporate sponsored, and would not be hiring bands like the brothers if they were not under written in some way. It's found money if a band can get it.
