I'm going with my wife, first time at a multi-day festival so we're going at the beginning and staying until the end, as my previous festivals were one day affairs in Ontario, Canada. We're driving down from north of Toronto, it's a beautiful scenic trip that we enjoyed on our way to and from the Beacon shows in March.

I'll be seeing a friend who moved to California, she's flying in for the shows, as well as a friend from Ottawa, and possibly our mutual friend from Toronto.

These will be my last ABB shows, as I can't make the Beacon run....(webcast please!)...so I'm expecting it to be somewhat emotional as well....my first show was 23 years ago, and I've loved them since I first heard IMOER when I was 11.

But enough about me; who's going???

I think it would be cool to meet some board members too.

I'm staying at a Best Western.

This will be my 3rd peach. the second was better than the first logistically speaking. they security wasnt as bad, and things were more organized as far as camp shuttles. i'm gunna be camping again, and this year i bought the preferred seats so i can have a better view. The biggest downfall of peach is that the whole this is assigned seats, and there always seems to be sections of seats that people dont claim. they just sit there empty while people are stick in the 200 section wishing they were closer. the first year we went, we were given free upgrades by a festival promoter. 6 of us. we had a whole row of i think 24 seats to ourselves. we looked behind us, and there were tons of people rammed into the 200 section, and we were all alone. i hope they fill it up, or at least allow for some more free will.

other than that, everything is pretty cool. the mushroom stage is great because you can swim in the wave pool and the music is right there. everything is clean and nice. camping is pretty fun, and not too bad of a walk to the peach stage. im looking forward to this year a lot because the brothers will be closing out the festival. last year, after they played saturday night, they were done, and i think it was kind of anti-climactic. black crowes were great, but nothing lived up to the saturday night close out.

Just got my ticket as well. VIP (I need to sit) in 101 on the aisle. Remember they only look at tickets for the evening acts. If the story is true that's a shame they wouldn't let people move up once everyone had their seats. Let's arrange a get together as I mentioned. Perhaps someone could collect cell number and emails. I'm bump827@yahoo.com and 917 696-4700

In like Flint! Ray, Laura and I will be doing the 4 days - we are staying at the Comfort Inn Suites with a bunch of shady characters from this site (yup, all the usual suspects). We own the back patio!

Really looking forward to this one (last year was my first Peach) - and sho nuff looking forward to meeting some more of this awesome family!
