this year has been mentioned in the past as being a "big touring year" for the 45th anniversary, now with everything else that 2014 might be for the ABB I would suspect that hasn't changed.

seems like summer tour begins, ends, or is based around Peach Fest in years past...with Peachfest advertised as the "only chance to see the Bros in the NJ/PA area this summer"

and there has been a few posts on here about conversations with band members that mention the big year...and southern shows...and fall tours...

the Beacon is sold out 100%! there's no threat to releasing some summer dates to us!

In the past summer tour dates don't normally get released until after Beacon run.

They have already announced some of the Festivals they're doing.

I am attempting to swing Peachfest into summer schedule unless Red Rocks or a show or two is announced out west. I know who am I kidding. Maybe finally meet some of you in Scranton.

Leafsfan, as long as we are dreaming, how about a Portland or Gorge show?

I wish they would give us more info on summer tour.... I'm having the same problem with Jeff Beck's World Tour; no dates showing for North America, after they announced shows in Europe up until the end of July.

I'm concerned I'll buy Peach Fest tickets and miss Jeff hitting my area...he was here in '11, I met him and got my guitar signed.

So yeah, I'm trying to organize seeing every ABB show I can, and every JB show I can, and neither is letting me know their summer schedules, leaving me in the dark about how to avoid conflicting shows.

I could see them putting up a Bonnaroo date or two. The Summer tour won't start until after Peachfest. I could see them teaming up with Phil Lesh and the "Q", both bands putting in full double sets. They could run the East Coast typical haunts, hit the midwest and tackle some of the sheds and then head out West to do 3 nights at Red Rocks, Vegas, The Gorge, California, etc. I could see this tour running from August thru September.

Now that I am waking up, who knows, it could be anything, but bet we get something good.

The Phil Lesh deal for this year's shows with Peter Shapiro are exclusive and he will not be doing some shed tour.

Yeah, it will probably be Ratdog. That would make more sense since they are playing Peachfest and they seem to like touring together. I know I don't mind it. Some people on both sides don't seem to like the crowd that the other band brings. Pretty funny, really.

Could it be this is finally the year that the ABB and JB hit the road together for a summer tour? Could it be?? (Yeah, I already know the answer so no need to shoot it down.)
