I went to one show at the Spectrum, sometime around 1974 I think. Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker, and ZZ Top.

Not a bad seat in the house of the old Spectrum. Saw the ABB play there right before the Eagles went to the Super Bowl. The eagles had a linebacker who was a huge ABB fan John Bunting he came out with a few of his teammates and gave the band some shirts. The place went wild. Bunting would come on local radio wmmr on Monday and talk about Sunday's game then they would play an ABB song.. This new place they are going to build is going to be nice check it out.

Here is a list of their concerts. Saw my first of my 20 or so Dead concerts there (they had 53 total - record for the Spectrum).

My first was the Dec '72 show. Many a memory in that building, all my first concerts, Flyers, Sixers, etc...........and of course the infamous nitrous action in the parking lot.
