do you think any good seats were held back during the amex presale or will the reg onsale be whats leftover from the amex presale.

I have my Amex presale tickets in hand already. My guess is that the bulk of the tickets are still available, and you shouldn't have any problem getting god seats.

It is Reverend Ike's church but good seats (not god seats) cost $150. Next price level is $100

Seems the really good seats were gone in the presales; rear/side orchestra coming up for 3/19

1 - Thanks Lana

2 - The mysterious 3/27 show is no longer there. I say still 50/50 if they add another week

I got four for 3/19 in the presale. Tried to get some more for friends and was offered worse. Seems all the good stuff went in the presale and what was left didn't last long.

THANK YOU LANA!!!!!

(Might be time for an AMEX huh?)

checked out the 3/13 show for giggles and only had upper loge right when they went on sale. Tried a few times also. I have to imagine that all these VIP ticket package tickets will be released to normal tickets soon.

I concur. I'm looking for single tickets, and I highly doubt that the best available is Orch Row X. Amazing.

Got 4 in Upper Loge for 3/13. I guess that's better then the RowZ or Upper Balc that I threw back in the presale. I need to talk to you pros who are able to consistently pull out these double letter seats. Maybe needing 4 together hurts my chances. Bottom line - I'm in the house!!

Is that seating chart accurate? Orchestran has the 'low digit' seats in the middle (i.e. 1-28) and the 100s on the wings, but the loges have the 100s in the middle, and vice-versa?

Hahahaha... looks like the Palace has their seating chart wrong as well.

http://www.theunitedpalace.com/seatingchart.pdf

Im not doing real well in getting a good single for the 11th(opener) and the 19th. Giving up for now. Im hoping that I'll be able to help out a fellow 'shroom head who is stuck with an extra ticket at Greggs feet closer to showtime

I was looking for 3 for 3-18. Nothing in the two center orch sections came up at all. And last night right before the presale ended, I could find them. I'm convinced they put out the marginal tix first to see if people will bite. I did not.

Man I was in at 10am and nothing came up for the 20th my first 4 or 5 times trying. Eventually things started to opne up. Grabbed row D up Loge.

Its such a process I cant stand it. The key is patience and throwing back tickets. I was pulling row N, M, H before D. I will go in later to see what else shows up. At least I am in.

I got nothing for March 20th. If anyone has extra orchestra let me know. I have tix for the 19th and I'm flying in from Cali.

I didn't do good in the Peach Corp presale because I was looking for 4 tix. Started with Sat 03.20 and got shut out. Nothing. Moved back to Fri 03.19 and got 4 in balcony. Went to Thurs 03.18 because I wanted 2 shows and got 4 in balcony. I was on at 8pm sharp for this. Today on at 10am sharp for general public sale. My strategy is pull a single for Fri 03.20, looking for upper loge as I think $150+ for lower loge is too much. Pulled one in row K first try. Threw it back and got row H and bought it. Wish I could have got closer, but I sealed the deal. Found out after the fact a friend had pulled one in row D. I just have to consider myself lucky to see 3 shows. We are still able to see ABB in NYC.

Cant imagine they will if weekend shows still have tickets... I am sure the packages are under selling also.

the sales were ridiculous. The layout and seating charts were difficult to decipher. I thought there was a true balcony and was happy to get Row A then found out its after all the loge seats so these balcony seats stink.

The 100 seats are not dead center as is usual in theaters and are on the side. This whole place is far away, big and i dont see anything near the interest of any of the Beacon runs.

It will be interesting to see if they add any shows and what happens next year.

There are about 500 more seats in UPT than the Beacon, so even w/o selling those last 500, the revenue should still be as much or more (given the VIPs and more rows at $151) than before, and the costs should be the same. I bet they put on more shows.

I'm waiting for those VIPs not to sell and be put back in the hopper. Thanks but no thanks to the seats along the walls.

Here's that killer seating chart again for those who may have missed it:
