The news:

quote:
500+ MOOGIS FANS PRESENT: MOOGIS 2010

We did it! We did it! We did it! Yes, 500 people have renewed their Moogis subscriptions. In fact, we even got a few extra renewals. That was really a great feeling. So, Moogis would like to thank all the folks who spent $60 to renew their Moogis subscriptions until March 1, 2010. Now, you can continue to enjoy these great shows and all the other content on the Moogis site.. In fact, we might even have another surprise or two for all of you over the next few months.

For everyone that was not able to renew at this time, we will have to conclude your current Moogis subscription at this time. We want to thank you for all the support you have given us in the past. We would invite you to check in on the Moogis website from time to time over the next few months. There will be information that will be updated to keep you informed about the plans being made for 2010 and The Allman Brothers appearances in New York. Hopefully, you will join us again for all the great experiences Moogis will bring you next year.

So, in the meantime, we will keep in touch with you to let you know about the details for 2010. We will have some interesting news for you in a few weeks, so stay tuned.

Again, thank you to everyone that has worked with Moogis and extended your subscriptions until March 1. We appreciate your faith in Moogis. We will endeavor to continue to make Moogis a groundbreaking entertainment and social experience.

They should keep the renewal process open . Who knows how many more will trickle in, especially around Christmas. Music always makes a great gift.

Was an email sent out? I didn't get anything. Are we supposed to use our existing login info or will we get a new temporary login? Anyone know?

Had to throw this is in. First of all, best wishes to Butch and the success of this program.

But on the other side of the coin, this is a perfect example of why the archive releases haven't been more frequent. If the 500# is good, how many archival CDs have sold?

I was a Moogis member and avid watcher but was away last week and never received any e-mails. So as I understand it there was a brief opportunity to extend the subscription for $60 to next March? Is that still available? All I see on the website is a subscribe button that ask for $125. I'd be happy to part with $60 but have to draw the line at $125.

The $60 is a downpayment for the full price, which I do not believe they advertised what that will be. You pay the balance around march 2010

I reupped and I'm glad that the shows will be out there until next years NYC run! There's nothing like a Sunday mroning Beacon veiwing ( laptop + headphones = euphoria)while the rest of the household sleeps. I went over to the Moogis sight, and if you'll click on the news items on the right side of homepage where it says Moogis extensions etc, it will take you to a link where you can extend your subscription. It does not say if they intend to leave the option open however. I am betting you'll see more content addded after Christmas sales are over ( ie 2009 audio or even the house videos from some of the sheds!). The real March madness was on the Internet at my house this past year and I'm looking forward to another run next Spring!!!!

Also, if you don't pay the $60 they will shut off your access to the current shows.
